Wyndham Social and ArtNext are pleased to present Soft Noise, a solo exhibition by emerging Hong Kong artist June Ho, running from 25 September to 25 October 2026. Recipient of the Wyndham Social Emerging Artist Award at ArtNext Fair 2025, June presents a compelling body of printmaking works that explore urban quietude, tactile memory, and the nuanced search for belonging in a fast-paced city.

In a metropolis defined by noise and speed, Soft Noise serves as a contemplative intermission. Taking inspiration from the subtle, overlooked details of daily life—slanted morning sunlight filtering through branches or the damp air of a bus station after rain—June translates transient moments into intricate woodblock and relief prints. Her subdued colour palettes and delicate textures gently soften the sharp edges of urban existence, inviting viewers to tune into a restorative quietude.

“Occasionally, a gust of wind blows by, gently turning a page of a book. The faint rustle of paper suddenly softens the noise of the street. It is a personal record, a quiet note to self. Like the wind turning a page, life leaves a small fold—a quiet space for the mind to settle.”

Graduating from the Department of Fine Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2015, June uses her personal experiences as a narrative framework to compress and reconstruct familiar yet alien everyday scenes. Her practice delicately balances rural t ranquillity and urban density, addressing themes of diaspora, displacement, and an evolving ‘sense of place.’

Brand Collaboration: Wyndham Social × Eve Bliss

To extend the exhibition’s sensory experience, Wyndham Social has partnered with local functional beverage brand Eve Bliss. Inspired by June’s prints, Eve Bliss will launch a limited-edition non-alcoholic drinks collection featuring June Ho’s artwork on the packaging. Each functional flavour is crafted to harmonise with the shifting moods and energies required in daily city life.

Additionally, Eve Bliss will host an exclusive lobby pop-up at 33 Wyndham Street during the final two weeks of the exhibition (12 October – 25 October 2026). The space will be transformed into a zero-proof N/A Bar, featuring functional mocktails crafted by mixologist and Eve Bliss ambassador Anthony Chan. Each signature drink is thoughtfully designed to evoke distinct moods and elevate the everyday moment

Since its founding in August 2022, Wyndham Social has been steadfast in its commitment to supporting local artists and serving as a vital launchpad for emerging creative voices. Co-presented with ArtNext Fair, this exhibition marks Wyndham Social’s active engagement with Hong Kong’s premier art fair for emerging artists, uniting two platforms dedicated to cultivating and empowering the next generation of local creative talent. By fostering meaningful cross-disciplinary collaborations—such as bridging June Ho’s contemplative printmaking with Eve Bliss’s functional wellness ethos—Wyndham Social continues to champion innovative artistic practices and create accessible entry points for cultural engagement. Soft Noise reinforces this mission, offering city dwellers, art lovers, and the Central community a space to pause, connect, and discover the transformative power of local contemporary art.
